Job summary

Kïdo International Preschool in Houston is seeking a Bilingual Preschool Director in Training to support multiple Houston-area schools. This leadership development role is designed for experienced early childhood leaders who are ready to grow into leading their own preschool.

You'll work alongside experienced Center Directors, provide leadership support across campuses, and receive mentorship from our Houston Regional Director.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and English (Required).
• 2-4 years of experience as a Center Director in a licensed preschool (preferably 150-200+ children) (Required).
• Current Texas Director’s Credential (Required).
• CDA, associate’s, or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (Preferred).
• Background check including fingerprinting is required.

Responsibilities

• Support Center Directors by covering operations and maintaining relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with Houston Center Directors as part of a peer leadership team.
• Train, mentor, and inspire teachers and leaders to deliver high-quality care and education.
• Engage families and communities to understand and meet their needs.
• Oversee compliance, health & safety, licensing, and enrollment efforts.
• Partner with curriculum teams to implement engaging early childhood programs.
• Prepare for opportunities to eventually lead your own preschool as a Director.
