Job summary

Kidango is seeking an Early Childhood Assistant Teacher to support daily lessons and create a nurturing classroom in San Lorenzo. You will help plan activities, organize materials, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for diverse learners. Strong family communication is valued.

Preferred candidates hold GED/HS Diploma, 6 ECE units, and Spanish/English bilingual skills. Health screening, TB test, background check, and driver license may be required. This role offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• GED/HS Diploma and 6 ECE units required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Prior experience with young children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, preparing, and implementing daily lessons.
• Prepare learning environment and materials for activities.
• Supervise and engage children during activities, outdoor play, meals, and transitions.
• Support children with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities or language barriers.
• Assist in the Desired Results process and observe development progress.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Communicate with families as directed by a supervisor.
• Follow licensing regulations and health/safety protocols.
• Assist other centers when requested.
