Job summary

Centro de la Familia is seeking a Center Aide to support teachers in a vibrant early learning environment. You will assist in the classroom, help maintain a safe playground, and promote health, safety, and school readiness for children aged 0-5.

You may also contribute to transportation coordination, kitchen operations, and family services while embracing bilingual practices that support dual-language learners.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Entry-level position; enthusiastic about working with children, including those with special needs and limited English proficiency.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and willingness to sit/kneel/crawl during activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support under supervision of Education Specialist.
• Safely supervise and engage with children in both indoor and outdoor spaces.
• Promote health, safety, and school readiness for young learners.
• Assist with transportation, kitchen operations, and family services as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers to engage children in developmentally appropriate activities.
