Job summary

Centro de la Familia is hiring a Center Aide to supervise and engage young children while collaborating with teachers to implement developmentally appropriate activities.

The role emphasizes bilingual support, safety, and fostering a nurturing, inclusive learning environment for 0–5 year-olds, with emphasis on growth across multiple domains and adherence to CACFP and classroom routines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Entry-level position; no prior education or experience required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable sitting on the floor, crawling, running, and activities with 0–5 year-olds.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Actively supervise and engage with children, ensuring their safety in collaboration with teachers.
• Foster a supportive environment that promotes physical, social-emotional, cognitive, and language development.
• Contribute to curriculum implementation and learning opportunities.
• Maintain classroom hygiene and routines, and support nutrition and mealtime guidelines.
