Job summary

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a full-time Counselor to provide comprehensive case plans for victims of domestic violence. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field and be bilingual in English and Spanish. Responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, advocating for clients with social services, and providing crisis counseling. A Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required. The role is day shift with a schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of the dynamics of domestic violence.
• 40 Hour Domestic Violence Training preferred or must be completed within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive case plan for all victims of domestic violence.
• Conduct an intake assessment and implement a case plan based on client needs.
• Advocate for clients with social services agencies.
