Qualifications

• Holds or is eligible to hold a NC teaching license.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Provides individualized and small group instruction to adapt curriculum.
• Creates a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to students.
• Maintains standards of student behavior to ensure a functional learning atmosphere.
• Establishes clear objectives for lessons and communicates them to students.
• Employs a variety of instructional techniques and media.
• Evaluates student growth and communicates progress to parents.
