Job summary

Braverhood in New York is seeking a part-time DSP (Direct Support Professional) to provide support for individuals in the home and in the community. You will help clients engage in daily living skills, social activities, and personal goals, guided by a caring team. Must speak Cantonese and English, have reliable transportation, a driver’s license, and be a U.S.

citizen or have a work permit. You’ll work with Case Supervisors on monthly goals, document progress, attend training, and ensure all

Must speak Cantonese as well as English.
Experience with the special needs community, preferably with children or young adults.
Reliable Transportation is required; Driver's license and vehicle are REQUIRED.
Must be a U.S Citizen or have a work permit.

Responsibilities

Foster a positive environment to help individuals reach personal goals (social interactions and activities of daily living).
Work closely with Case Supervisors on monthly goals and plans of action.
Document services rendered and client progress on a daily and monthly basis.
Provide support for individuals with developmental disabilities in the home and in the community.
Attend mandatory staff meetings and training once a year.
Submit all paperwork and monthly summaries on time.
Adhere to all agency and OPWDD regulations.
