Job summary

Catholic Charities in San Antonio is seeking a bilingual doula to train, mentor, educate, and support new and expectant mothers and their partners throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. You will assist with birth plans, prenatal education, on-call support, and postnatal care in-office, home visits, or clinics. The role requires flexible hours, strong documentation, and collaboration with the program team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 1+ years related work experience.
• Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Attended credible doula training with birth/postpartum care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in creating a birth plan and prenatal education.
• Provide on-call labor, birth, postpartum, and breastfeeding support.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant records and required documentation.
• Attend staff meetings and program trainings.
• Refer clients to Community Health workers as needed.
