Job summary

Astrana Health in Monterey Park, CA seeks a DME Operations Coordinator (Cantonese or Mandarin speaking) to support DME orders, coordinate in-person visits, and service patients in hospitals and SNFs.

You will work with DME Operations Supervisors, handle calls, order processing, inventory, and compliance, lifting up to 50 lbs, using Brightree and other software. This is a full-time, on-site role in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s degree is preferred.
• Fluent Chinese is required; Vietnamese or Spanish highly preferred as well.
• Experience in healthcare operations/logistics or customer service role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and other software applications (e.g. Brightree).
• Ability to type at least 60 wpm; lift up to 50 lbs; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming telephone calls and assist members with empathy and professionalism.
• Confirm new orders via telephone, schedule in-person appointments or gather information for shipping.
• Process and track supply orders through DME software (e.g. Brightree).
• Assemble, restock, transport, and deliver DME supplies to designated locations (including hospitals and skilled nursing facilities).
• Lift, move, and unload DME supplies (up to 50 lbs).
• Perform inventory counts and track inventory levels.
• Conduct in-person service appointments including dispensing supplies, performing measurements and providing other product-related support.
• Scan, upload, and maintain digital documentation into DME database; complete compliance surveys.
