Job summary

Advance Auto Parts seeks an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales and service objectives. The role requires basic knowledge of store systems, parts, and automotive basics, with capability to source from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs and manuals.
• Use basic math in all units of measure (whole numbers, fractions, decimals).
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person and by phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its sales targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
