Job summary

Advance Auto Parts seeks an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales goals. You should know store systems, basic automotive parts, and how to source from stores, hubs, and suppliers. The role covers inventory maintenance, and safety certifications are preferred.

You will assist DIY customers in person and by phone, perform installations, and ensure clean, well-stocked shelves while contributing to overall store performance.

Qualifications

• Must read and write in English; Spanish is a requirement.
• 2-3 years of successful sales or retail experience.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Knowledge of store inventory and basic automotive parts.
• Ability to source parts from various locations and use POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and calls.
• Hit personal sales targets and support store goals.
• Offer DIY services like battery testing and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operation standards.
• Handle inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers when needed.
