Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Dallas seeks an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business, deliver friendly service, and help achieve sales goals. The role requires strong knowledge of store systems, basic automotive and part knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

You will assist customers in battery installations, wiper installs, and other DIY services, maintain inventory and cleanliness, and handle deliveries as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.
• Basic knowledge of store systems and basic automotive knowledge.
• Ability to work days, evenings, weekends as needed.
• Fleet safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
