Job summary

Kinder Growth Therapy in New Jersey is seeking a compassionate part-time DIRFloortime therapist to work in-home with autistic children. Sessions are primarily weekday afternoons and evenings, with weekends optional, matching families within 30 minutes.

You will provide playful, 1:1 therapy, build trust through attuned play, and collaborate with supervisors. A valid background check and bilingual Spanish-English are required.

Responsibilities

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field (education, psychology, child development, etc.)
• Preferred: Experience with the DIRFloortime® model

Experience (1+ year required)

• Childcare (babysitting, daycare, preschool teacher, assistant teacher)
• Special education (educational settings, special needs)
• Developmental intervention (early intervention)
• Autism interventions (RBT/Behavioral technician, autism support specialist, ABA therapist, other DIRFloortime experience

Schedule

• We ask each employee and family to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week, with sessions typically lasting 2–3 hours per day.
• Most sessions take place after school (between 3–8 PM on weekdays) and anytime on weekends.
