OMS360 in Montgomery, TX, seeks a bilingual Surgical Assistant to support oral surgeons with pre- and post-operative care, patient prep and intraoperative assistance, while maintaining a sterile environment and proper documentation.

Ideal candidates are bilingual English/Spanish with RDA certification (DAANCE preferred) and experience in dental/oral surgery. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork are essential.

Formación

• Bilingual English and Spanish is required.
• Experience in dental or oral surgery settings.
• Knowledge of infection control and OSHA basics.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patients for consultations.
• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while addressing needs.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments per guidelines.
• Complete radiographs and CT scans efficiently.
• Prepare tray setups and maintain supplies in operatories.
• Instruct patients on pre/postoperative care.
• Record patient charting and surgeon notes in the digital chart.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/ HIPAA regulations.
• Oversee sedation processes, IV supplies and post-op histories.
• Assist in recording drugs/vitals before and after surgery.
• Escort sedated patients out after surgery.
• Assist front office staff as needed.
• Track implant supplies.
