Enhance Oral Surgery in Salem, Oregon seeks an energetic Oral Surgery Assistant / Registered Dental Assistant to join our surgical team. You will work directly with the Oral Surgeon to provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after procedures.

The ideal candidate has oral surgery experience and an OMSA or RDA certificate preferred, with strong commitment to patient safety and teamwork in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Qualifications

• Dental assisting experience required; oral surgery experience preferred.
• RDA and OMSA certificates preferred.
• Current BLS and dental radiography/X-ray certification.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Professional, dependable in a surgical environment.
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols.
• Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide chair-side assistance to the Oral Surgeon during surgical procedures.
• Prepare patients, operatories, instruments, equipment, and surgical materials.
• Obtain dental X-rays, monitor/document vital signs, and perform other clinical duties within applicable scope and certification.
• Provide pre- and post-operative patient instructions and support patient comfort and safety.
• Follow infection control, sterilization, and surgical asepsis protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records, organized operatories, and appropriate surgical supply inventory.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to support efficient patient flow and daily operations.

We are seeking an energetic, dependable, and team-oriented Oral Surgery Assistant / Registered Dental Assistant to join our oral surgery team. This position will work directly with the Oral Surgeon and clinical team to provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a surgical environment, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and is committed to patient safety and a positive patient experience. Previous oral surgery experience and an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant (OMSA) certificate is preferred.
