Job summary

Treasure Coast Community Health (TCCH) in Florida is seeking a Dental Receptionist to deliver friendly, efficient front-desk service. You will operate a multi-line phone system, schedule and reschedule patients, verify insurance, and coordinate patient flow.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3–6 months front-desk healthcare experience, and preferred bilingual English/Spanish abilities. TCCH offers competitive wages and a strong benefits package including dental, life and disability

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
3–6 months of prior reception experience in healthcare.
Bilingual English/Spanish candidates strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Open and close dental office according to office protocol (operating hours).
Greet and welcome patients.
Check in and check out patients according to office protocol, verifying and updating patient information.
Confirm the next day's appointments.
Coordinate all clinical telephone communications and verify pre-authorization as applicable.
Check insurance for patients prior to their visit.
Assist in patient account activities and data maintenance.
Perform cashier functions and reconcile daily cash drawer at checkout.
Answer and route incoming calls and schedule/reschedule appointments.
