Job summary

Third Sector New England seeks a Workers’ Rights Organizer for a temporary, part-time role (French). Based in New York, you will join WJP’s Los Deliveristas Unidos initiative, organizing delivery workers across NYC, with emphasis on French-speaking immigrant communities and field-based engagement.

This onsite position offers 22.5 hours per week through August 31, 2027, with pay ranging $28–$32 per hour. Benefits include generous PTO, health insurance, dental and vision, FSA, life/disability

Qualifications

• Experience organizing workers or community groups, especially immigrant workers.
• Strong in outreach and relationship-building with diverse communities.
• Ability to work in a field-based role across multiple NYC boroughs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly outreach to app delivery workers in NYC, focusing on French-speaking immigrant workers.
• Inform workers about rights and WJP campaigns to improve conditions.
• Identify and develop worker-members and leadership for LDU.
• Facilitate participation in events and meetings; support leadership development.
