Job summary

TSNE MissionWorks, partnering with Worker’s Justice Project in New York City, seeks a Workers’ Rights Organizer to engage French-speaking immigrant delivery workers. The role focuses on staffing the Deliverista Hub, educating workers on rights, and growing a base through outreach and leadership development.

You will support casework on wage theft issues and collaborate across WJP centers, with a schedule requiring flexibility and fieldwork throughout NYC.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to workers' rights and social justice.
• Experience organizing within French-speaking immigrant communities.
• Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliverista Hub staffing and on-site engagement five days a week.
• Inform workers about workplace rights and organizing campaigns.
• Conduct weekly outreach targeting app delivery workers across NYC.
• Provide case management support for wage theft and account deactivations.
• Develop WJP member base through group and one-on-one engagements.
