Job summary

Confidential in New York, NY seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer to lead pre-sales activities, translate business needs into robust security architectures, and guide PoCs and demos for financial institutions.

Role requires collaboration with vendors, RFI/RFP responses, and bilingual communication in Japanese and English. You will develop reference architectures and enable the sales force with technical know-how.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Pre-Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or related customer-facing technical role.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies and architectures (MXDR, EDR/XDR, SASE/ZTNA, Email Security, SSPM/DSPM, Password Management, Brand Protection, Security Awareness).
• Proven experience leading discovery, requirements gathering, and solution design engagements.
• Hands-on PoCs, product evaluations, and technical demonstrations.
• Ability to create architecture diagrams, BOMs, proposals, scope documents, and SOWs.
• Experience supporting RFI/RFP responses and technical proposals.
• Professional-level communication skills in both Japanese and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and scoping discussions with customers.
• Translate requirements into cybersecurity solution architectures.
• Plan, configure, and lead PoCs and product demonstrations.
• Develop solution diagrams, BOMs, scope docs, and high-level estimates.
• Contribute technical content to RFI/RFP responses and quotes.
• Build relationships with technology partners and vendors.
• Prepare and mentor teams on pre-sales methodologies.
