Job summary

Amerit Consulting is seeking a bilingual Customer Care Rep for a fully remote position assisting Medi-Cal beneficiaries with health plan selection. The role requires strong customer service skills, multi-channel communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Candidate must reside near Rancho Cordova, CA, with relocation not required. The contract runs about 6 months with 4–5 weeks of training and a Oct 23, 2023 start date.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software.
• Bilingual English and one of Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish, Armenian, Cambodian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Tagalog, Thai, Laotian, Vietnamese.

Our client, a US Fortune 1,000 company and a major process services provider to Government Health and Human services agencies in the US,seeks an accomplished “Bilingual Customer Care Rep – Fully Remote.”

** LOCATION: Fully Remote until Client site reopens in Rancho Cordova CA | 3130 Kilgore Road, Suite 400, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670 (Candidate must reside within 25 miles of Rancho Cordova, CA.)

** DURATION: 6 Months +

** TRAINING: 4-5 Weeks

** START DATE: Oct 23, 2023

** IMPORTANT:

BILINGUAL FLUENCY IN ENGLISH & ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: CANTONESE, MANDARIN, ARMENIAN, CAMBODIAN, JAPANESE, SPANISH, KOREAN, RUSSIAN, TAGALOG, THAI, LAOTIAN & VIETNAMESE.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• A Customer Service Specialist shall assist and educate Medi-Cal beneficiaries with selecting a managed health care plan.
• Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
• Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
• Communicating with customers through various channels.
• Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
• Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
• Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: At least HS diploma / GED
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office and ability to learn and utilize software applications.
• Bilingual Skills: English and one of the following: Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish, Armenian, Cambodian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Tagalog, Thai, Laotian, Vietnamese.
• Preferred: 6 months Customer service experience preferred
• Previous experience with computers, phone systems, and headsets preferred.
• NOTE: Candidates that are offered a position are required to pass pre-employment background screenings.
