Job summary

Mom’s Meals is seeking a bilingual Customer Service Representative in Des Moines, IA to support Spanish-speaking customers ordering meals. You’ll handle calls, answer questions, and input orders with care.

Starting wage is $18.00 per hour with weekly pay, benefits after 30 days, and a Monday–Friday schedule 9:00am–6:00pm. Employment is contingent on pre-employment screenings.

This on-site role offers growth opportunities and a friendly team environment at a national meal-service provider.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and English (Spoken & Written).
• High school degree or GED.
• 1 year of previous customer service experience.
• Basic computer proficiency, including experience learning and using software in a work or school setting.
• Clear oral communication skills.
• Ability to deescalate situations and quickly resolve customer complaints.
• Prior experience adhering to company policies and showing core values.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls with our clients placing their meal order.
• Address questions, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Input order information into the appropriate client order screen.
• Document all conversations with client into client information database.
• Ensure all assigned clients are contacted and have an order on file.
• Contact case managers via telephone, email, and/or fax when a special situation arises regarding one of their clients.
• Work quickly and efficiently without making the client feel rushed.

Mom’s Meals, the leading national provider of refrigerated home-delivered meals in the healthcare market, is looking for upbeat, people-first individuals to join our team as Bilingual Customer Service Representatives. The starting wage is $18.00/hour with weekly pay, PTO, and benefits available after 30 days of employment.

Work hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm with the potential for overtime starting at 7:00am.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to

Preferred Skills and Experience

• 1 year of previous call center experience

• Previous experience with auto dialer, multi-line phone system, and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams

• Previous experience working with HIPAA policies and procedures

Physical Requirements

• Repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingers

• Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods

• Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
