Job summary

Mom’s Meals is a national provider of refrigerated, home-delivered meals. We are seeking upbeat, people-first individuals to join as Bilingual Customer Service Representatives in Ankeny, IA. The role starts at $18.00/hour with weekly pay, PTO, and benefits after 30 days.

Responsibilities include handling calls, entering orders, and maintaining client records. Must be bilingual (Spanish/English) with strong communication skills and HIPAA awareness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
• Experience with HIPAA policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls with clients placing their meal orders.
• Address questions and provide exceptional customer service.
• Input order information into the client order screen.
• Document conversations with clients into the client information database.
• Ensure assigned clients have an order on file.
• Contact case managers by phone, email, or fax for special situations.
• Work quickly and efficiently without rushing the client.
• Deescalate situations and resolve customer complaints.

Job description

Mom’s Meals, the leading national provider of refrigerated home-delivered meals in the healthcare market, is looking for upbeat, people‑first individuals to join our team as Bilingual Customer Service Representatives.

The starting wage is $18.00/hour with weekly pay, PTO, and benefits available after 30 days of employment.

Work hours are Monday‑Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm with the potential for overtime starting at 7:00am.

This position can start on Monday, September 28th or Monday, October 12th.

• Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls with our clients placing their meal order
• Address questions, and provide exceptional customer service
• Input order information into the appropriate client order screen
• Document all conversations with client into client information database
• Ensure all assigned clients are contacted and have an order on file
• Contact case managers via telephone, email, and/or fax when a special situation arises regarding one of their clients
• Work quickly and efficiently without making the client feel rushed
• Fluent in Spanish and English (Spoken & Written)
• High school degree or GED
• 1 year of previous customer service experience
• Basic computer proficiency, including experience learning and using software in a work or school setting
• Clear oral communication skills
• Ability to deescalate situations and quickly resolve customer complaints
• Prior experience adhering to company policies and showing core values
• 1 year of previous call center experience
• Previous experience with auto dialer, multi-line phone system, and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams
• Previous experience working with HIPAA policies and procedures

• Repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
• Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods
• Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
