Job summary

CentroMed is seeking a Customer Service Representative to serve as the primary contact for patients at our clinic locations. You will welcome patients, register them, and ensure positive experiences while coordinating data entry for encounters and program eligibility.

You will conduct financial reviews and support billing, collections, and annual reporting activities. Ideal candidates are bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong clerical and data-entry skills, and prior healthcare

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• General experience in a health care setting preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required to serve diverse patient base.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and update accounts in the computer system with accurate demographics.
• Enter charges for self-pay, insurance and eligibility programs; reconcile daily balances.
• Determine patient eligibility for special programs and assist with scheduling.
• Assist patients and visitors, answer phones, identify clinic and staff.
• Explain insurance, including Medicaid/Medicare/CHIP, and verify status via TMHP/Availity.
• Support outreach, maintain encounter logs, and assist with data accuracy for reports.
