Job summary
Healthcare Alternative Systems (H.A.S.) seeks a Mental Health Clinician to assess and recommend treatment for individuals with mental health disorders, in crisis on the CTA route near Logan Square–Jefferson Park. You will partner with peer support staff to deliver crisis response and connect clients with crisis Living Room resources.
The role requires a Master’s degree, eligible clinical licensure, and fluency in English and Spanish.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
- Clinical licensure (LPC, LCPC, LSW/LCSW, LMFT) or license eligible.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Conducts initial risk assessments and IM-CAT for individuals in crisis.
- Provides crisis intervention and referrals to Living Room or CTA crisis services.
- Offers treatment recommendations for clients in crisis.
- Collaborates with HAS outreach teams to expand referral networks.
- Maintains client records with regular quality assurance checks.
