Job summary

YWCA Metropolitan Chicago is seeking an Advocate to support sexual assault survivors, providing crisis intervention and ongoing support. This role also involves community training on sensitive service provision and collaboration with various stakeholders.

The Advocate will need a Bachelor’s degree and experience in relevant services. A flexible schedule is required, including on-call shifts, and the work environment spans across various community locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in sexual assault, domestic violence, or related services for 6 months to 1 year.
• Training in sexual assault issues preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse populations non-judgmentally.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention services for victims of sexual violence.
• Conduct community trainings on non-judgmental service provision.
• Complete statistical reports and maintain records of services.
• Coordinate volunteer programs and maintain records.
