A leading defense services company located in New York City is seeking a Freelance Spanish Court Interpreter to support interpretation needs in immigration courts. The role requires fluency in both English and Spanish, along with the ability to provide consecutive and simultaneous interpretation. Candidates should have at least one year of interpreting experience, preferably in a judicial environment. This position offers the flexibility to work on-site and potentially remotely, with open travel opportunities.

Formación

• Legal ability to work in U.S.
• Minimum one year of experience with both simultaneous and consecutive interpreting.
• Ability to speak English and Spanish fluently.

Responsabilidades

• Provide consecutive and simultaneous interpretation between target language and English.
• Perform sight translation and quality control review of translated documents.
• Provide in-person, over-the-phone, and video remote interpreting.
