Qualifications

• Ability to provide court interpreting services across multiple modes (sight, consecutive, simultaneous).

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, telephonic or video interpreting services for court proceedings and related events.
• Interpret from English into a foreign language and vice versa in sight, consecutive or simultaneous modes.
• Assist with setting up/testing devices for virtual events to provide simultaneous interpretation.
• Deliver interpreting services individually or as part of a team of interpreters.
• Produce final or draft translations of official forms, notices, posters and correspondence.
• Provide cross-training and shadowing opportunities for interns and colleagues.
