Job summary

TALENT CONNECT EXECUTIVE SEARCH & HR SOLUTIONS is seeking a bilingual, operations-focused Controller to lead accounting, close, tax, and internal controls for a multi-state telecommunications and infrastructure company. The role is on-site in Chantilly, VA and requires fluency in English and Spanish.

You will oversee financial reporting, budgets, cash flow, and compliance, and develop the accounting team while partnering with Ownership, Operations, HR and Administration to drive growth and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 7 to 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• At least 3 years leading teams or serving in Controller-level duties.
• Experience in multi-state operations and multiple projects.
• Strong command of US GAAP, internal controls and tax compliance.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems such as QuickBooks.
• Professional-level bilingual English and Spanish (essential).

Responsibilities

• Lead general accounting and ensure complete, accurate and timely records.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Manage bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable and fixed assets.
• Prepare budgets, cash flow forecasts and variance analyses.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
• Coordinate external audits and tax filings.
• Maintain accounting policies and internal controls.
• Oversee financial systems and identify automation opportunities.
• Prepare executive reports and KPIs for management.
