Job summary

Benchmark Education Company in the United States seeks a Dual Language Senior Content Developer to lead content development with the Editorial team, coordinating with vendors and writers to ensure high editorial standards. You will manage timelines, maintain guidelines, and support cross‑functional teams across product lines.

You will apply strong Spanish writing/editing skills, advance literacy content, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and other departments to deliver top-quality

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience developing literacy materials for an educational publisher.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, education, or related field; MA a plus.
• Superior Spanish writing & editing; strong project management.
• Knowledge of language, literacy, content issues, research and standards.
• MS Office proficiency; Adobe Creative Suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project manage development phases for Core and Supplemental products.
• Coordinate with vendors, colleagues, and freelance writers.
• Review, edit, and approve manuscript and production stages with editors, designers, and researchers.
• Incorporate feedback from multiple departments and reviewers.
• Develop and maintain writing and editing guidelines.
• Review vendor and writer samples for quality control.
