Environmental and Safety Solutions, Inc. seeks a Bilingual Construction Safety Specialist in Jeffersonville, OH. The role focuses on enforcing safety across multiple trades, conducting site inspections, and promoting a proactive safety culture.

You will partner with superintendents and subcontractors, lead toolbox talks, and ensure proper PPE use. Local candidates preferred; per diem available for non-locals.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• OSHA 510 certification preferred.
• Local to the project preferred; per diem available.
• 2–5 years of construction safety management experience.
• Excellent writing and computer skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a strong field presence (90%+ time) on the job site.
• Conduct daily site walkthroughs and inspections for OSHA compliance.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors to promote safety.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and pre-task planning sessions.
• Observe activities across trades to ensure safe practices.
• Investigate incidents and document findings for corrective action.
• Coach workers on safety best practices and PPE use.
