Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting, LLC. is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead field crews and oversee daily concrete operations from start to finish. The role requires effective bilingual communication in English and Spanish and a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

The successful candidate will supervise crews, read and interpret plans, ensure on-time completion, and maintain a safe, organized jobsite, while reporting daily progress and coordinating with the Superintendent.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Concrete Foreman or similar construction leadership role.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of concrete forming, placement, finishing, and safety practices.
• Ability to manage crews, schedules, and production goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct daily activities of concrete crews with clear expectations and accountability.
• Communicate effectively with both English- and Spanish-speaking team members.
• Translate project plans, safety requirements, and work instructions as needed.
• Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a strong work ethic on the jobsite.
• Mentor crew members and support skill development.
• Execute concrete work according to project plans, specifications, layout, elevations, and Superintendent direction.
• Monitor daily production and ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Identify potential issues early and communicate solutions before they impact schedule, quality, or budget.
• Support quality control standards throughout all phases of work.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite at all times.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and secured.
• Inspect equipment regularly and report any damage, safety concerns, or maintenance needs immediately.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment usage, and weekly load lists with the Superintendent.
• Accurately track daily labor hours and crew productivity.
• Complete and submit daily reports detailing work completed, labor, equipment usage, quantities, delays, and jobsite issues.
• Prepare weekly load lists for materials, tools, and equipment needs.
• Assist with documentation related to change orders and T&M work.
