Job summary

CK Construction Group is seeking a Concrete Superintendent to supervise and coordinate activities of a crew engaged in concrete footers and vertical form work. Bilingual, English and Spanish required to communicate with a diverse team on site.

Responsibilities include directing concrete carpenters and laborers, interpreting blueprints and job orders, organizing work sequences to meet the schedule, managing subgrade, forms and concrete placement, and ensuring safety policies are followed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of apprenticeship program or 4-6 years of concrete construction experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Directs activities of assigned Concrete Carpenters, Concrete Laborers and Apprentices.
• Interprets blueprints and job orders as needed for area of supervision.
• Establishes and adjusts work sequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge of equipment and assigned team members.
• Directs subgrade work, setting of forms and placing of concrete.
• Understands schedules and manpower requirements for completion of projects.
• Analyzes and resolves any issues on the project.
• Ensures adherence of the Company's safety policy and practices.
