Job summary

NJ Sharing Network seeks a Community Services Specialist (Spanish-Speaking) in New Providence, NJ to coordinate community education and outreach programs across diverse communities. The role focuses on faith-based institutions, schools, and volunteers, advancing donor registration and engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Public speaking is required.
• Spanish speaking is required to support community education and outreach programs.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates presentations and programs for community education and outreach with a focus on faith-based institutions, high schools, colleges and nursing schools.
• Plans and executes educational events for key donation observances including Minority Donor Awareness Month, Donate Life Month and Donor Sabbath.
• Recruits and collaborates with volunteers.
• Seeks opportunities for public speaking to educate and motivate the public to register as organ and tissue donors.
• Identifies relationships with hospitals, faith-based institutions, chambers of commerce and other community stakeholders.
• Works with leadership to recruit qualified individuals with diverse backgrounds.
