Job summary

The Children’s Home Society seeks a Bilingual Program Assistant 1/Community Partner in Trenton, NJ to support resource development, outreach, and volunteer engagement in the Heritage North and Heritage South centers.

This full-time role requires an Associates degree with two years in human services, bilingual English/Spanish or English/Polish, and a valid NJ driver’s license; you will collaborate with families, schools, and community partners to strengthen services.

Qualifications

Associates Degree with two years’ experience in development or implementation of community based services, prevention programs, or related human services.
Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services related field preferred; experience in prevention programs is a plus.
New Jersey driver’s license, safe driving record, and vehicle availability required.
Experience with marketing, fundraising, program planning, data entry and research helpful.

Responsibilities

Partner with individuals, families, and community partners to build relationships at FSCs and within the community.
Highlight strengths and identify resource gaps to support children, youth and families.
Plan and deliver center activities with Family Partnership Specialists and Advisory Board.
Identify trainings for Parent Advisory Boards on DEIB topics and inclusivity.
Provide ongoing community resources to advance DEIB initiatives.
