Job summary
The Children’s Home Society in Trenton, NJ seeks a Bilingual Program Assistant 1/Community Partner to support family services, outreach, and volunteer development. The 35-hour/week role requires building relationships with parents, schools, and community partners, and coordinating center activities in Heritage North and Heritage South locations.
Salary is $40,000 annually with benefits, and the position demands evening/weekend availability to meet program needs.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree with two years’ experience in development or implementation of community based services or human service programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services related field preferred.
- Valid New Jersey driver’s license, safe driving record, and vehicle availability required.
- Experience with marketing, fundraising, and program planning is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with families, community partners and stakeholders to support FSC activities.
- Plan and deliver center-based activities with Family Partnership Specialists and Parent Advisory Board members.
- Identify trainings for Parent Advisory Boards on DEIB topics and inclusion.
- Provide ongoing support and resources to advance DEIB initiatives in the community.
