Job summary

Kern Family Health Care is seeking a Community Engagement Navigator I to help members with Medi-Cal Redetermination of Eligibility and enrollment processes. You will work onsite at two local locations, assist with documentation, and maintain confidentiality in all member interactions.

The role requires strong customer service, Spanish bilingual skills, and the ability to coordinate with state and county partners. Onboarding is through a staffing agency; pay is 22.00/hr.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of recent experience in customer service or related field.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Assist KFHC members with Medi-Cal Redetermination of Eligibility applications.
• Provide excellent customer service and advocate for members.
• Document demographic updates and encounters in databases.
• Coordinate with Kern County Department of Human Services as needed.
• Schedule one-on-one appointments to support enrollment and retention.
