Job summary

NorthStar Memorial Group in Kaneohe, HI is seeking a Bilingual Community Development Supervisor to recruit, train, and develop a multilingual sales team serving families with cemetery and funeral preplanning needs across Oahu, including Valley of the Temples Memorial Park, Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary, and Diamond Head Mortuary.

Qualifications

• Ability to self-generate prospects and teach others to do the same.
• Must be proficient using computers and computer applications.
• Experience using a CRM to track and follow up on prospects/leads.
• Two years sales experience is preferred.
• One year leadership or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs.
• Lead community outreach/events, preplanning seminars at churches, non-profits, unions.
• Meet personal sales performance requirements monthly; this is a selling position.
• Ensure staff are trained on products/services and understand inventory and spaces.
• Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
• Provide support to the sales team to grow advisors' and the company's success.
• Observe and ride along with sales advisors prospecting and sales activities.
• Certify advisors in presentations and ensure daily prospecting occurs.
• Maintain records of leads, referrals, closing ratios, and follow-up results.
• Report to the sales manager daily for direction and status updates.

Bilingual Community Development Supervisor

NorthStar Memorial Group is looking for a Community Development Supervisor at Valley of the Temples in Kaneohe, HI. We are looking for a bilingual, service driven, sales leader that is ready and able to recruit, train, and develop a world-class, multilingual sales team while leading by example with their personal sales. The team will assist families with their cemetery and funeral preplanning needs for our locations on Oahu: Valley of the Temples Memorial Park, Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary, and Diamond Head Mortuary.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs: Example: Lead community outreach/ events, preplanning seminars at churches, non-profits, unions
• Hold daily meetings with sales advisors to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly goals are being met
• Meet personal sales performance requirements monthly. This is a selling position.
• Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs
• Ensure that all staff are trained on products and services, and understand what inventory and spaces are available
• Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service
• Provide support to the sales team to help grow the success of the advisors and the company
• Observe and ride along with sales advisors prospecting and sales activities
• Certify advisors in the perfection of presentations
• Ensure daily prospecting occurs so that advisor’s pre-need sales presentations and sales results are meeting company minimum standards
• Keep thorough records of leads, referrals, closing ratios, and after-service follow-up results
• Report to the sales manager daily for direction setting and unit status report
• No relocation provided

Requirements

• Ability to self-generate prospects and teach others to do the same
• Must be proficient using computers and computer applications
• Experience using a CRM to track and follow up on prospects/leads
• Two years sales experience is preferred
• One year leadership or management experience preferred

Salary Range:

$100,000 - $180,000
