Conexión Américas is seeking a Bilingual College Access and Success Program Coordinator in Nashville to lead the Escalera program at a high school site. The role emphasizes mentoring, collaboration with school staff, and coordinating college access activities for first-generation students.

The candidate should be fluent in Spanish, experienced with immigrant populations, and capable of managing program curricula, data tracking, and partnerships to ensure student success and postsecondary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English is required.
• Native/Advanced level bilingualism in Spanish is required.
• Flexibility and initiative to work in a team and fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact with diverse stakeholders and work some evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manages the implementation of Escalera afterschool programming for 11th and 12th graders.
• Plans recruitment and retention outreach for program participants.
• Maintains relationships with school staff and administrators.
• Reports program success to stakeholders via newsletters and presentations.
• Leads in-school or afterschool meetings with students.
• Updates curricula to fit cohort needs and coordinates wraparound services.
• Provides one-on-one career exploration and college application support.
• Coordinates college tours and college fair events with the team.
