Qualifikationen

• Certified Medical Assistant with current certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of CMA work experience is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is required or strongly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Prepare examination rooms and maintain cleanliness for patient visits.
• Document vital signs, medical history, and chief complaint in the EHR.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Administer immunizations, injections, and medications under supervision.
• Perform EKGs, vision tests, and other diagnostic screenings as required.
• Maintain accurate charting in the EHR and pre-charting for visits.
• Coordinate follow-up care, referrals, and test results.
