Job summary

Palm Medical Centers is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians in a busy primary care setting. The MA will perform clinical and administrative tasks to maintain patient flow, document in the EHR, and support care coordination.

Requirements include CMA certification, BLS, at least 1 year of experience, phlebotomy preferred, and Spanish language ability. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, and EAP. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant with 1 year of experience.
• BLS certification is required.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and ensure readiness for patient visits.
• Document vitals, chief complaint and history in the EHR.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures as needed.
• Administer immunizations and injections under supervision.
• Perform EKGs, vision tests and other screenings as required.
• Handle patient check-in/out and inquiries promptly.
• Schedule tests and follow-up appointments.
• Support care coordination and education on chronic care.
