Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Physician Services is seeking a Medical Assistant in Georgia to provide patient care under supervision, with front and back office duties. Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program required.
• In lieu of formal education, two years of medical assistant or related clinical experience required.
• CMA-AAMA certification upon hire required.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) upon hire required.
• 1 year of medical office experience required or 2 years if no degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of patient care activities under supervision of a physician, extender, or RN; duties include front and back office tasks.
