Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Vocational Nursing or Medical Assistant program, or eligible for related certifications.
• Licenses: RMA, CMA, CCMA, NRCMA or LVN with BLS/CPR within 12 months/30 days.
• Five years of clinical experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Acts as on-site clinical coordinator guiding the care team.
• Oversees clinical workflow to ensure quality of care and patient satisfaction.
• Resolves scheduling, insurance and satisfaction issues; escalates when needed.
• Participates in quality reviews and opportunities for process improvement.
• Maintains EMR knowledge and supports department meetings and education.
• Cross-trains to perform patient access tasks.
