Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of front office experience (registration, eligibility screening, medical records, telephone operator).
• Travel to NEVHC Health Centers as directed by supervisor.
• Effective verbal and written communication with patients and others.
• Teamwork and flexibility in a changing environment.
• Sensitivity to diverse cultures and confidentiality of patient information.
• Valid California driver’s license if required to drive on the job.

Responsibilities

• Perform front office tasks including patient registration, eligibility screening and medical records clerical work.
• Answer phones and direct inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Travel between NEVHC Health Centers as assigned by supervisor.
