Job summary

Harvard Community Unit School District 50 is seeking a Bilingual Instructional Support Associate to assist teachers in delivering instruction and addressing behavior in general education classrooms. This is a full-time 9-month position, with compensation based on the district's instructional associate contract and paid hourly.

The role reports to the Building Principal and starts August 10, 2026. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 60 college credits or ETS Paraprofessional, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 60 college credits and/or ETS Paraprofessional test.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Delivers instructional support designed by teachers for general education classes.
• Assists with behavior management and student supervision.
• Attends to students' needs and assists with assignments.
• Provides small group instruction and progress monitoring as directed.
• Supports translation to assist students, families and staff.
• Communicates with staff and parents regarding needs and concerns.
