Job summary

LEARN Charter School Network is seeking an Instructional Assistant to support daily classroom operations and small-group instruction. You will work closely with the Classroom Teacher to monitor student behavior, track progress, and help implement a positive school culture.

The role involves engaging with families and communities, planning with teachers, and ensuring high-quality instructional delivery across the day.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 60+ college credits required or preferred.
• Experience in a classroom setting is preferred.
• Bilingual ability is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Classroom Teacher to plan and deliver instruction in small groups daily.
• Monitor students’ behavior and academic progress, and help maintain school culture.
• Assist with implementing behavior expectations per the classroom plan.
• Support recess, lunchroom, and other transitions under teacher supervision.
• Contribute to differentiated instruction using appropriate student assessments.
