Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Assist with administration and scoring of objective testing instruments or work assignments.
• Help maintain neat and orderly classroom.
• Help with inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment.
• Help teacher maintain administrative records and prepare required reports.
• Provide orientation and assistance to substitute teachers.
• Ensures specific materials and supplies are ready for classroom use.
• Conduct instructional exercises with students or small groups.
• Supervise students during school hours (lunchroom, bus, playground).
• Perform other duties as assigned by Principal/classroom teacher; provide first aid; clean areas.
