Job summary

Dist102 is seeking a Paraprofessional to join the team at Congress Park School. Bilingual Spanish is preferred. In this role, you will adapt classroom activities to assist teachers, monitor student behavior, and maintain a safe learning environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a Paraprofessional License or equivalent and demonstrate knowledge and experience with the Google Suite. Strong confidentiality skills and a commitment to student success are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Paraprofessional License, PEL, or Substitute License.
• Experience with Google Suite is essential.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is required.

Responsibilities

• Adapt classroom activities under teacher's direction.
• Communicate with teachers for evaluating progress.
• Implement instructional programs under supervision.
• Maintain classroom equipment for safety.
• Monitor students in various settings.
• Promote good study habits and independence.
• Document students' daily activities.
• Implement behavioral plans as designed.
• Model appropriate social behavior.
• Respond to emergencies effectively.
• Supervise students during activities.
• Participate in team planning.
• Maintain a substitute folder.
• Perform other assigned tasks.
