Job summary

Intact is seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our Claims Department in the Customer Service Centre. You will provide legendary customer service to external and internal clients in a call centre, resolving inquiries professionally and documenting files accurately.

The role requires bilingual French and English, 35 hours per week during business hours, and eligibility to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in French and English.
• Customer service and sales experience preferred.
• Insurance experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on policies, products, services and initiatives.
• Answer inbound calls on claims and related inquiries, resolving issues and moving requests forward.
• Document files accurately to reflect conversations and actions taken on claims.
• Communicate empathetically and clearly about policy coverage or operational challenges.
• Meet daily call centre metrics while handling high call volumes and multiple tasks.
