Job summary

Groundworks New Mexico seeks an Early Childhood Life Skills Specialist to support behavioral health and social-emotional development for children and youth through individual or group sessions, with some evening hours. The Specialist collaborates with EC's clinical teams to implement tailored service plans.

The role includes facilitating life skills groups, coordinating parenting classes, creating safety plans, scheduling activities, and providing non-therapeutic guidance to youth and survivor

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English-Spanish), written and verbal required.
• Associate’s Degree (early childhood development preferred) or high school diploma with two years related experience.
• Evening hours availability.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Life Skills Groups for children and youth.
• Coordinate parenting classes.
• Create safety plans for each child/youth.
• Schedule child and youth- related engagement activities.
• Provide individualized, non-therapeutic social-emotional support tailored to goals.
• Guide and support survivor parents.
