Job summary

Zarephath Community Services seeks a Behavioral Health Technician (Life Success Specialist) to support youth (5–17) and families in Phoenix, Tempe and Guadalupe. You will work 1:1 with youth and caregivers, teaching life skills and supporting reunification efforts with DCS.

You’ll use the Ansell Casey Assessment, plan engaging activities, track progress with individualized plans, and travel across the East Valley to deliver hands-on learning in diverse settings.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required to effectively communicate with diverse families.
• At least 1 year of experience in youth-focused behavioral health.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support with youth and caregivers across Phoenix, Tempe and Guadalupe.
• Teach life skills using the Ansell Casey Assessment and support daily independence.
• Plan therapeutic activities, sports and outings in community settings to reinforce learning.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain thorough documentation of progress.
